ATL Diesel is a fast-growing leader in diesel engine parts distribution with deep technical expertise, high product quality, and a focus on helping customers maximize performance, reliability, and uptime; as the heavy-duty truck parts market expands, we are positioned for growth and are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to win new accounts and build territory coverage across fleets, shops, dealers, distributors, and OEDs. This hunter role centers on prospecting and closing new business rather than processing orders, and you will use diesel engine parts knowledge to earn trust, influence stocking decisions, and provide market feedback that shapes coverage, with a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission tied to new business results.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As an Regional Sales Manager, you will be a primary growth driver for ATL Diesel. Your role is to win new customers, expand existing relationships, and grow revenue across an exclusive territory. You will spend most of your time in the field building trust with fleets, repair shops, dealers, and distributors. Once accounts are established, you will partner with an inside sales team for daily execution while you stay focused on growth.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

  • Prospect, qualify and close net new accounts across an assigned territory
  • Build a predictable pipeline and keep accurate forecasts and activity in CRM
  • Consistently prioritize activities that lead directly to revenue and territory growth
  • Present technical and commercial value to decision makers and influencers
  • Build relationships with decision-makers at fleets, repair shops, dealers, and engine rebuilders
  • Coordinate onboarding and handoff to the inside team so first orders and service validate the sale
  • Provide market intelligence to influence stocking service and coverage decisions
  • Track conversion rates territory performance and opportunities for product placement
  • Travel up to 50%, depending on territory and location
  • Represent ATL Diesel professionally in the market and at customer sites

  • Comfortable taking calculated risks to open doors and accelerate growth
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine parts and applications
  • Ability to earn trust with technical customers through credibility and follow-through
  • Comfort working independently while collaborating with internal teams
  • Consistent use of sales process, cadence, and pipeline management
  • Willingness to spend significant time in the field

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience
  • Proven success selling diesel engine parts
  • Experience selling to fleets, repair shops, dealers, or rebuilders
  • Strong understanding of engine components
  • CRM experience preferred (HubSpot a plus)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory
