KIFSPC15W/02/CS | Caterpillar 3406E/C15 Single Piece Steel Piston IPD Upgrade Kit

This IPD 3406E Inframe Kit is a C15 Durability upgrade for non‐Acert off‐highway applications from articulated (1807352) to 1‐piece steel. This kit contains the 1599778CSWS cylinder liner (0.001” oversized ID) to help prevent scuffing.

IPD Piston: Currently 1‐piece steel, same 16.6:1 compression ratio as original 1807352 articulated piston.

This kit has been used successfully without any warranty failures in applications from stock all the way up to 1000HP without engine failure!

The IPD 3046E Inframe Kit includes:

• (6) Pistons with Pins/Rings
• (6) Liners with Crevice Seal Design
• (7) Main Bearings
• (6) Rod Bearings
• (1) Thrust Bearing
• (1) Upper Gasket set

(*IPD does not include the oil pan gasket as part of their inframe kit since Caterpillar Guidelines deem these a reusable item. If you would like to add to the kit we can add for an additional $149*)
