ATL Diesel Damaged Part Claim Policy

At ATL Diesel, we take great care to ensure that all shipments arrive in excellent condition. However, in the event of a damaged shipment, we require that claims be reported within the following timeframes to facilitate a prompt resolution:
Visible Damage

If there is visible damage to the packaging upon delivery, before signing the delivery receipt, you must have the driver notate the damage on the document. Failure to do so may result in the denial of your claim. The damage must then be reported to ATL Diesel within 15 days of receipt. Please inspect your package upon arrival and contact us immediately if any damage is detected.

Concealed Damage

If damage is discovered after opening the package, it must be reported within 5 days of delivery. We strongly encourage you to inspect the contents as soon as possible to ensure all items are in good condition.
Required Documentation for Claims

To process a claim, the following information is required:
  • Photos of the damaged merchandise inside and outside the box
  • Photos of the packaging materials used inside the box
  • A close-up photo of the shipping label with the tracking number
  • A photo of the entire exterior packaging (top, two sides, and bottom of the box)
  • The Box Manufacturer’s Certificate (BMC), if available
Failure to report damage within the specified timeframes may result in the denial of the claim.
