CORE RETURN POLICY

As part of our commitment, we offer a core return program to help you save money and reduce waste.

What Is A Core?

A core is a used part that can be remanufactured or rebuilt to meet OEM specifications. Common diesel engine cores include turbos, injectors, fuel pumps, camshafts, rockers, cylinder heads, connecting rods, crankshafts and even complete longblock cores. When you purchase a part from ATL Diesel, you may be required to provide a core in exchange for a credit or refund.

Core Return Requirements/Policy

Acceptance Criteria for Caterpillar 3406E/C15/C13/C12 Injectors

To participate in our core return program, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. The core must be the same part number and type as the new or remanufactured part you purchased from ATL Diesel.
  2. The core must be in rebuildable condition, which means it is not cracked, broken, or otherwise damaged beyond repair.
  3. The core must be complete, which means all parts and components must be included. For example, a Turbo core must include the turbine housing, compressor wheel, center housing, and wastegate actuator.
  4. Follow the core return process

To Return A Core To ATL Diesel, Follow These Steps:

  1. Please keep all original packaging of your new item to be used for the core return
  2. Drain all fluids: oil, fuel, etc. out of the core before it is returned.
  3. Place any plastic plugs or caps received on the new item back onto the core.
  4. Contact our core customer service team (940) 286-7596 or corereturns@atldiesel.info to obtain shipping labels & instructions.
  5. Pack the core securely and label it with the RMA number.
  6. Ship the core to our designated facility within 30 days of purchase.
  7. If you have several cores it is crucial that you use the correct label for each of the boxes as they may be shipping to several locations. If the wrong labels are used and cores are misplaced at the facilities, responsibility will be taken by the customer for core charges.
  8. Once we receive and inspect the core, we will issue a credit or refund based on the condition of the core and the terms of the sale.
**If for any reason, you decide to return the part, DO NOT use the Core return label provided because it will be processed as a core **
Core Return Credits

The amount of credit or refund you receive for a core will depend on several factors, including the condition of the core, the current market value of the core, and the terms of the sale. We reserve the right to adjust the amount of credit or refund based on our inspection and evaluation of the core.

Core Return Policy

We offer a prepaid shipping core return program for qualifying cores for customers located within the continental 48 states. All international customers outside of the continental 48 must pay the core charges in full at the time of sale and are responsible for the shipping cost to return the cores. To participate in this program, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. The core must be in rebuildable condition, which means it is not damaged beyond repair.
  2. The core must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  3. The core must be the same part number and type as the new or remanufactured part you purchased from ATL Diesel.
  4. The core must be complete, which means all parts and components must be included.
  5. For all cores returned after the 30-day deadline, ATL cannot guarantee credit of the core charge, all refunds and credit will be at the manufacturer's discretion.
