ATL Diesel has engineered & produced a custom sized spacer plate that only we offer! In speaking with a Caterpillar Rebuild professional, he had mentioned that he wished there was a spacer plate that was not standard but not .003' undersized as it seems too much. If you machine your block or are reusing liners that have sunk into the block you can't go with the standard size plate, but the .003' undersize puts you at a bit of a risk for having an issue with over-protrusion and cracking a liner flange. Using this plate will get you right in the .005-.006 range!

We went aheand an had a plate produced specifically for this customer and have had great success in hundreds of builds now! We are now making this product available to the market!
