Role Summary

The Billing Manager owns the end-to-end billing function for ATL Diesel. This role ensures invoices are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer expectations, while continuously improving processes that support scale, cash flow, and customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact

·        Ensure customers are billed correctly and promptly, reinforcing trust and reliability

·        Improve billing processes and controls to support growth and scale

·        Reduce billing-related friction for sales and service teams

·        Provide leadership with visibility into billing performance and receivables

·        Build and lead a billing team focused on accuracy and ownership

Key Responsibilities

·        Own all billing activities including invoicing, credits, adjustments, and refunds

·        Ensure billing accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal controls

·        Lead, train, and develop billing staff with clear performance expectations

·        Resolve complex or escalated billing issues with a customer-first mindset

·        Partner with Sales, Inside Sales, Operations, and Finance to resolve issues

·        Improve billing workflows, documentation, and controls

·        Prepare billing, aging, and performance reports for leadership

·        Support month-end and year-end close related to billing and accounts receivable

·        Assist with audits by providing documentation and process explanations

·        Evaluate and implement billing tools or automation improvements as needed

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

·        4+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue operations

·        1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred

·        Strong knowledge of billing systems and invoicing workflows

·        Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems; QuickBooks and Acctivate preferred

·        Advanced Excel or spreadsheet skills
