This cylinder head is the top-shelf item for your Caterpillar 3406E/C15 Engine. This super duty cylinder head, similar to the stage 2 and 3 heads, is loaded with exhaust AND intake upgraded inconel valves. This major performance improvement increases the capacity of the valves to endure higher temperatures as well as heightened pressure.
In addition to this, the cylinder head has a stainless steel fire ring machine right into the deck of this cylinder head to avoid any chance of blowing a head gasket, which is a common failure in engines that are tuned to higher horse power. This allows you to turn up the heat and pressure with the peace of mind knowing that you have the heaviest duty head on the market under your hood.
