Upgrade your DD15 with confidence. The 4720901480 Upgraded High Performance Turbocharger is a premium, enhanced replacement designed for Detroit Diesel DD15 engines requiring improved durability, stronger boost response, and increased airflow efficiency over standard replacement units.

This is not just a stock replacement — this upgraded version is engineered with performance-focused improvements to deliver more consistent boost under load, improved throttle response, and long-term reliability in demanding heavy-duty applications.

High-Performance DD15 Turbocharger (Upgraded S300/S310 Hybrid Design)

• Billet Compressor Wheel (S300 Design)
Precision-machined billet wheel with OEM-spec inducer and exducer for improved strength, airflow efficiency, and durability over cast alternatives.
• Upgraded S310 Shaft & Turbine Assembly
Replaces the standard S3B turbine setup with a more robust S310 shaft assembly—significantly more resistant to failure under high load and surge conditions.
• Heavy-Duty Journal Bearing (S310 Style)
Larger journal bearing increases load capacity and stability, reducing wear and extending turbo life in demanding applications.
• Modified Compressor Cover (Re-cut Map Groove)
Optimized anti-surge characteristics to protect against shaft failure. Slight trade-off in peak compressor efficiency, but greatly improves reliability under real-world operating conditions.

Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, this turbocharger features precision-balanced rotating assemblies, high-temperature resistant materials, and strict quality control processes to ensure durability and consistent performance.
